When I changed into my Kyo Sohma cosplay after wearing my pirate England one for most of the weekend, I felt like I was wearing pajamas. It was almost too comfortable, like I kept feeling like I was too underdressed to be in public.

I got all of the blue brocade for that coat for 50% off, but I still went through quite a bit of it. I collected many of the pieces for my pirate outfit over the course of my life (the jewelry, shortsword, bottle and the leather holder for it, folding fan, belt, etc.), but if I were to buy all of them at once it would easily be a couple hundred dollars.
